A winter morning | A Rainy Day | Traffic Jam | Paragraph Group-3

1. A winter morning

A winter morning is cold and foggy. Everything seems hazy and indistinct. The grass remains wet with dewdrops. When the sun rises, dew drops sparkle like pearls. Old people and children shiver in cold. Poor people gather straw and make a fire to busk in the heat. Animals, too are helpless. They hide in the corner of the house and try to save themselves from the biting cold outside. People get up late in the morning. Old people and children get up a bit later to evade the cold of the early morning. Working people get out of the doors when the fog disappears and when the sun is hot. People usually eat homemade cakes with ‘date juice’ and sitting outside their homes enjoy the warmth of the early sun. Bangalees settled abroad, make it a point to come and spend the winter in Bangladesh. They find the winter here as pleasant as the winter in any European country is tremendously cold. A winter morning in Bangladesh is thus quite fascinating for them. My personal feeling about a winter morning is that it is a bane for the poor but a boon for the rich.

2.A Rainy Day

After the hot days of June, a rainy day is welcomed. In summers ponds become dry. Birds and animals feel thirsty. All men, women, and children feel uneasy during hot days. With the falling of rains, everyone gets happy. Peacocks present a dance during rainy days. Frogs in ponds cry very loudly. The Buffaloes enjoy a bath in water ponds. Some people enjoy a rain bath including the children who play in rainwater. The farmers became happy. They had been praying for the rainfall. Farmers started plowing their fields. People come out in raincoats and use umbrellas during rains. If it is raining in- the morning children become happy because now it would be a holiday for them. The level of rivers begins to rise. A cold wind blows. The weather becomes pleasant due to rain. There is also thunder and lightning.

3. Traffic Jam

Traffic jam is a situation where vehicles cannot move freely and traffic comes to a standstill. It occurs almost all the district towns where a lot of vehicles play every day. Especially it occurs near bus stand, railway crossing, turn of a road, at the junction of various roads or near a market. It occurs mainly in the morning and afternoon on working days when the everyday body tries to attend office in a short time or returns home as early as possible. The indiscriminate playing of vehicles like rickshaws, buses, scooters, etc and haphazard parking of vehicles and small shops in the footpaths are the main reason for traffic jams. Traffic jam causes untold sufferings to people. Students cannot reach schools on time. It kills our time and lessons our working hours. It causes great suffering to the ambulance carrying dying patients and the fire brigade vehicles. The increasing traffic jam hampers our economy. So well spacious roads should be constructed. One-way movement of vehicles should be introduced. The driver should be trained in order to cope with the other developed nations. After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.
